Removal and Installation

1.	Remove the engine room under cover. (Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "Engine Room Under Cover")

2.	Drain the engine coolant. (Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")

Remove the under cover (A).

Tightening torque :

7.8 - 9.8 N·m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf·m, 5.8 - 7.2 lb·ft)

Disconnect the exhaust heat recovery system (EHRS) coolant inlet and outlet hose (A).

When installing the hoses, note the correct location and direction of marking and clamp as shown below.

Remove the exhaust heat recovery system (EHRS) (A).

Tightening torque :

39.2 - 58.5 N·m (4.0 - 6.0 kgf·m, 28.9 - 43.4 lb·ft)

6.	Disconnect the heater pipe hose (A) and heater hose (B).

Remove the exhaust heat recovery system (EHRS) coolant pipe (A) from the sub frame.

Tightening torque :

6.9 - 10.8 N·m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf·m, 5.1 - 8.0 lb·ft)

8.	Install in the reverse order of removal.
