Connect the KDS/GDS on the Data Link Connector (DLC). |

Measure the output voltage of the RPS during idle at various engine speeds.

| Removal |
| 1. |
Release the residual pressure in fuel line. (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - “Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line”). |
| 2. |
Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 3. |
Remove the intake manifold. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Intake Manifold") |
| 4. |
Remove the injector foam. |
| 5. |
Disconnect the rail pressure sensor connector, and then remove the sensor (A) from the delivery pipe.

| 1. |
Install in the reverse order of removal. |

To start the engine, depress the brake pedal and press the engine start/stop
button with the shift lever in the P (Park) or the N (Neutral) position. For your
safety, start the engine with the shift lever in the P (Park) position.
