Kia Niro: Mirror / Inside Rear View Mirror Repair procedures

Replacement

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

•	Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.

•	Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

[Manual Mirror]

1.	Remove the inside rear view mirror (A) after loosening the screw.

2.	Install in the reverse order of removal.

[ECM Mirror]

1.	Remove the ECM mirror cover (A).

2.	Remove the rain sensor cover (A).

3.	Disconnect the ECM mirror connector (A).

4.	Loosen the ECM mirror mounting screw (A) and then push the ECM mirror base up to remove the ECM mirror assembly (B).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

•	Make sure that the connector is plugged in properly.

•	Replace any damaged clips.
